Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and immerse yourself in the beauty of nature with the Pure Life house. The use of a minimalist black and white palette, balanced by the timely use of gray scale, creates a sense of belonging and simplicity that the occupants aspire to. The contrast between black and white is softened by the addition of natural textures such as stone, stucco, and wood, which add depth and visual interest to the space.
The floor-to-ceiling windows allow natural light to flood the rooms, creating a bright and airy atmosphere. The absence of standard TV configurations in the living room promotes a sense of tranquility, while the deep colors used in the design expand the space and create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
One of the unique features of the Pure Life house is its seamless integration of different materials. The flowing texture of stone is used to extend the sense of vision and link the living and dining areas, while the increased use of wood in the private sphere creates a warm and comfortable sleeping environment.
The design also overcomes challenges related to lighting by turning the open layout of the public sphere into an advantage. By replacing the TV with a projection screen and transforming the original TV wall into a cabinet for display and storage, the space gains flexibility and agility.
The Pure Life house, completed in September 2021 in Hsinchu City, Taiwan, is a testament to the designer's meticulous attention to detail and creative problem-solving. It offers a harmonious blend of aesthetics and functionality, creating a calm and peaceful spatial sequence that combines rigidity and flexibility.
Recognized for its outstanding design, the Pure Life house was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2022. This prestigious award acknowledges the design's contribution to quality of life improvements and its incorporation of best practices in art, science, design, and technology.
Experience the beauty of simplicity and tranquility with the Pure Life house, a testament to the power of minimalist design and the harmonious integration of materials and textures.
